- Scanning: We scan, crop, rotate, and save your photos in digital format (600dpi as standard, 1200dpi higher resolutions available). You’ll receive an email with the total number of photos scanned and the cost.
- Download Link: Once scanning is complete, you’ll get an email with a link to download your digitised images. They’ll be stored securely in the cloud for 30 days, giving you plenty of time to download or share them.
- Return: Your originals and digital images are returned to you.
- Share and Enjoy: With your photos now digitised, you can print them on canvas, create photo books, share with loved ones, post online, or simply enjoy the reassurance that your memories are safe.
What Are ‘Loose’ Photographs?
‘Loose’ photos are individual prints not attached to albums, frames, or mounts. They’re usually found in bundles, stacks, or envelopes, and should be free from staples, paperclips, sellotape, or blu-tack. For best results, please remove any adhesives or fasteners before sending your photos for scanning.

Photos We May Try to Scan, but Cannot Guarantee
- Photos with any side smaller than about 7cm (e.g., passport photos)
- Very thick card photos
- Excessively curled or bent photos
- Very fragile or damaged photos

- Magazines, brochures, or books
- Photos larger than A4 (approx. 21 x 29.7cm)
- Framed photos
- Passports or ID cards
- Photos with adhesives, fasteners, or sticky surfaces
- Odd-shaped photos (must be roughly rectangular or square)
- Greeting cards or letters
- Negatives or slides
